At our first ultrasound on September 27, 2008, we learned that Christian had some very severe complications. We were advised that the 'best thing' for me would be to terminate as continuing the pregnancy would pose increased risks to my health (and future pregnancies). Matt and I were committed to choosing life for our son knowing that God had given him to us for a purpose. We enjoyed 32 weeks with Christian before he went home to Heaven.
Over the course of that 32 weeks, we were blessed to have hundreds of people following our story and keeping us in their thoughts and prayers each day. Christian's life impacted many and we are so thankful and humbled by the miracle and significance of life, no matter how brief, no matter how small.
